Life is crazy busy, yet at the same time in a lul.
Just a few days ago Lil’Bean turned 8 months old. He has reached many milestones over the past week and a half. We have been anticipating his top teeth to come in for the past month and a half. Finally on the 4th of July the first one came through. The following day the next one came in. So now we are at four teeth. Two on top and two on bottom, with a couple more soon to follow.
Also on the 4th he started sitting independently for long periods of time. He has been close for a long time. He seems so much happier to be sitting all by himself.
Crawling is our next big thing. He gets on all four and rocks back and forth. Over the past week or so he has started scooting on his tummy and now does a sort of army crawl.
He is enjoying interacting with his big sister. They have even begun to wrestle with each other when they lay on our bed. If he is laying down, she will lay down next to him and nuzzle up to him. He will grab her hair (somewhat gently) and she will roll towards him and he will climb up on top of her.
Lil’Miss likes to “sing” songs and “quote” movies. If she is watching a cartoon with music she will sing along and occasionally get a word right on. She also likes to sing in church and in nursery she loves to do the actions to the songs as well. She knows a lot of words, but still pretty much speaks her own language.
She is as friendly as ever and loves to greet others where ever we go. She is also a ball of energy!! Moving and going all the time. We love her so.
It is fun to see my little one’s grow up!
