Pushing Pause and Moving Forward

I am a woman of many hobbies.  A blessing and a curse!  A Jane of all trades and a master of none!

This last week I had to remind myself to push pause.  The thoughts of what next were getting me a bit overwhelmed.  I have a page full of projects that I am working on, or am dreaming of getting started.  House stuff, crafty things, everyday life items.  Writing it all down helped me connect with reality and address what I need to do for the here and now.

The hubs temp job ends in a few weeks and we have given our renter in Tiny Home his 30 days notice to vacate. So moving soon is back on the horizon.  The good news is I only have our clothing, bathroom and kitchen items to pack up and we will be on our way!

So our most current mission diligently searching for a job.  I have been taking time out everyday to search and will soon start the networking route again.  We are even opening up the possibility of re-locating.  Our lives are already packed up, so why not throw that in.  Not really our first choice, but more open today than yesterday.

On top of unemployment, possibly due to unemployment we are in the process of applying to graduate school.  We had hoped to be able to get into the #2 Accounting program in the U.S. but things have shifted and we are now leaning towards local, cheap and convenient. That doesn’t sound right… more like we are leaning towards a program that is close enough to walk and affordable.  And friends who have recently completed the program are pleased with the learning experience.  So here we go!

All I know is that transition and change are inevitable and they are soon to visit our home for round two… moving day.

I have been pondering our financial goals and know that something will work out for our family.  We will not be unemployed forever and we will be able to move forward on our financial 100% debt free route.  More to come soon in this area.

{Just curious....
If you are out there reading this will you leave me a little comment!
I am wondering who really is out there!  Hugs!!!}

Happily Moving Forward!!

My brain works similarly. I often am overwhelmed with projects wants and needs. This year I am trying to chill and be happy where we are and with what we have.

I am also a "Jane of all trades and a master of none"!
I have often felt frustrated...especially when money is tight...that although I have many talents and interests, not many of them are very marketable.
I admire your creativity as you search for ways to become debt free. That's an admirable goal, especially when your spouse loses a job.
But it's obvious when I read your blog that you are learning so much along the way! And finding bits of beauty and joy, too!
I wish I could join in for another Girls Night. Those are rare treats for me...our family has such amazing women!

Thanks Melanie--
I will look into the St. Lukes job.

Martha-- It has been fun to be able to connect through seeing what you like on Pinterest and communicating through email. Maybe you can skype with us on our next girls night for a little while. That would be fun!
